Who We Are

Kate Trompetter, MPA, CCC

Kate Trompetter is the Founder and CEO of Connect For. She is a facilitator and coach living and working primarily in the Central Valley of California. She is a graduate of the University of California, Davis where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Sociology. She also has a master's degree in Public Administration from California State University, Stanislaus, and is certified as a Community Coach through Leadership That Works.

Kate is a Coach, Facilitator, and Designer, as well as a Weaver of individuals, organizations, and projects. She works almost exclusively in the public and nonprofit sectors as an ally to people and institutions who want to improve outcomes for our communities. She founded Connect For - a social purpose organization in 2022, but has been working as a Community Impact Coach since 2017 after a 14-year career in the nonprofit sector. Kate spends her time thinking about how people and systems interact with each other and their environments. And with that in mind, she convenes people across systems and issues to solve complex problems.

Outside of her work, Kate is a local musician, event organizer, and promoter. She organizes events like Modesto Porchfest, among other things, because it’s fun and our community deserves cool stuff. She is also a loyal partner to her musician-husband, David Rogers, and mom to her daughter Quinn and Bonus Kids, Seth, and Zyan.
